Gareth Morgan Organizations

This paper develops a perspective of the organization ‘SAXO.com’ through the lens of Gareth Morgan (2007) and supporting views of other theorists. First the paper frames SAXO.com in a historical perspective by using the mechanic metaphor. With an historical perspective, the paper sets off to analyze the present state of the organization.

This study is based on qualitative interviews from two sources currently employed at SAXO.com, that have different positions in the organization. Furthermore, observation have been used in order to analyze the organization. The above-mentioned methods investigates how the organization unfolds as a regular or irregular organization.
